Super Teacher Worksheets
http://www.superteacherworksheets.com/
This website is great! There are a ton of math worksheets and ESL worksheets. On most of the websites I've found, there have been great writing and reading worksheets, but not as many math worksheets. This website is a great resource!
This website had some great math worksheets, and with such a need to improve the way we teach math, any fun worksheet can help. We all know math and science are the two subjects the U.S. is constantly falling behind in compared to other countries, and we need to pull out all of the stops to begin helping students. I would definitely use graphic organizer worksheets like this place value chart to visually help students understand numbers' places.

Similar to the decimal worksheets, any worksheet that can help with fractions is one I can see myself using in my class. Fractions get a bad reputation, and even when I was in school learning about them, my peers and I didn't like them and I know this hasn't changed with students. Once I had a teacher who really broke down what a fraction was and how we can use them in math, it all became clear to me. The worksheet that has fraction strips and the pizza fractions are two worksheets I would definitely use. It's a visual way to explain exactly what a fraction is and the pieces can be used to learn how to add and subtract fractions.

I plan on teaching in the Central Valley, where I will have many students who are learning English as their second language. One of the main goals is to make content comprehensible for students so they understand concepts, even if they don't quite have all of the vocabulary. Graphic organizers with visuals are a great way to help ESL and other students understand concepts. I love the Hamburger chart because it's using a common object to show students how to organize a paragraph or essay. It's a great tool to use for all students!

Teach-nology Resource
Teach-nology is a great free resource for teachers. It has a ton of tools teachers can use in a classroom. It has worksheets for every subject and theme
I love the "Getting to Know you worksheet." It's so important for teachers to get to know their students in the beginning of the year. They not only need to know their background academically, but also their personal backgrounds. A teacher should learn students' interests and hobbies. This way she can better relate material and curriculum to her student's experiences, making it easier to understand and meaningful.

Similar to the Busy Teacher Cafe website, this website has great graphic organizers as well. Since so many students struggle with learning the fundamentals of writing, I'm always looking for ways to help them understand how a paragraph and writing works. This graphic organizer I would definitely use!

One of the main goals of most of my teachers in school, which will also be one of mine is to help students learn to think critically. These brain teasers are a great way to challenge students to think outside the box and begin to think critically about what they are learning and beyond. It is an important duty and responsibility of the teacher to help her students begin to think outside the box and not just accept something for face value.

Busy Teacher's Cafe Resource
http://www.busyteacherscafe.com
Busy Teacher's Cafe offers many great tools so I don't have to create from scratch worksheets and graphic organizers.
On the website, I particularly liked the printables she had for Writing. There are some great graphic organizers, like Venn diagrams and how to create a story. Teaching students how to organize their thoughts for writing is a very important skill for them to acquire at an early age.
http://www.busyteacherscafe.com/printables/writing.html
I also liked her ideas for themes in the classroom. Even though I do have to hit certain standards, there are creative ways to related the standards to themes, i.e. a pumpkin theme or winter theme. All of the curriculum can be related to these themes to make learning more fun and meaningful for students. She even has them divided by subjects on how you can important the theme to the various subjects. Using themes is a great idea, especially for the younger kids.
http://www.busyteacherscafe.com/themes.html
The website also has strategies that can help with challenges the teacher may face. From helping someone learn to read to ideas on classroom management, it's a great support link for teachers to find encouragement and support. It's always nice for teachers to find people who can support you and what you're going through.

Things 10-Playing around with online Image Generators
Making Comic Strips are fun! I could definitely make my own decorating posters for my classroom and it would be FREE! With all of the other expenses involved in teaching, it would be great to make my own creative posters instead of buying them from a magazine. This way, I can also make them work for my curriculum and my needs.

Thing 6 #4-Flickr fun and mashups
I love motivational poster like this, and the fact that I can make them now is even better! I can use my favorite quotes to make cool poster that I can use in my class. I can make them for my students for Christmas or birthdays. I love this! I showed my mentor teacher how to use it and she is having her students make posters like this in their computer lab.

23 Things 12- Fun 'n' Games (Wordle)
Wordle is AWESOME! I can definitely see myself using this to make cool quotes for my classroom decorations or even use it to highlight words from a packet of a billion pages at a long presentation. I will be sharing this with my mentor teacher as well because I know she could utilize this in her classroom.
